Nourish explores the unifying power of food through a dish that reminds us of our shared humanity: the dumpling. Drawing upon the diversity within Mason Studio, and our vibrant city of Toronto, we opened our doors, welcoming everyone to the Cultural Hub for learning, conversation and sharing. The project was part of DesignTO Festival 2024.

In the Gallery, local chefs and restaurateurs share their culinary work, stories, dumpling recipes and objects representing their roots. We examine how the dumpling is expressed in different cuisines, all from the personal perspective of the chefs.
